Mechanic

Great Texas Compression is a fast growing natural gas compression company in the oil and gas service business focusing mainly in South Texas. We are looking for highly motivated mechanics having 1-2 years minimum experience to join our team.

Our areas of need are found in both the Cotulla/Dilley/Carrizo Springs area and Corpus Christi/ George West/Kingsville area. A service truck will be provided and the area of coverage will be within a 100 mile radius of his home base.

Primary Responsibilities, Requirements and Benefits:

• Provide preventive maintenance and corrective field mechanical services on natural gas compressors.
• Knowledge of electrical systems.
• Represents Company in a professional manner at all times.
• Minimum of one or more years as a gas compressor mechanic with prior experience working with engines, gas compressors and/ or production equipment.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Standard drug testing prior to hiring.
• 10 paid Holidays per year.
